Ayla Manughian-Peter, MSc

Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory

Ayla Manughian-Peter completed her baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate work at California State University, Long Beach and University of California, Irvine. Shortly before completing her Master’s degree in cellular biology, Ayla joined the Cancer Epigenetics team at the John Wayne Caner Institute in 2017. In addition to managing the laboratory, her current research is focused on the study of aberrant alternative splicing events in immune evasion mechanisms of triple-negative breast cancer. This study was awarded during the 2018 RNA Society Annual Meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.
