Alexis Camacho received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and went on to earn her master’s degree in social work. She has had the opportunity to work with individuals and families across a variety of clinical settings. Some of her social work experience includes working in an inpatient geriatric psychiatric unit where she worked with complex cases and supported patients and their families through acute psychiatric care. She also worked in hospice care, where she provided emotional support to both patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most meaningful and challenging moments.
In her individual therapy work, she has supported clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults who were seeking services for concerns such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and more. As she begins her new journey in an oncology setting, she remains dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative care for patients and families.
