Philanthropy supports translational cancer research, helps expand immunotherapy investigation of solid tumors, and maintains an unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence. Investment enables the Institute to broaden its specialized training programs, such as the Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program, which, since its inception in 1991, has successfully trained over 170 fellows.

Additionally, funding will facilitate the expansion of genomics research, clinical trials, and a new cellular therapy program that will be important to Saint John’s overall options for care and research. Philanthropy will also help advance artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the pursuit of other novel and emerging technologies with the potential to revolutionize cancer care and treatment.
