Alston Novak (they/them) graduated from the University of Iowa in 2014 and has worked administrative positions across a variety of industries, with a focus on logistics, graphic design, and event planning. They split their time between Cancer Supportive Services and the Margie Petersen Breast Center, assisting Rebecca Crane-Okada, (PhD, RN, CNS, AOCN), Joseph Greenberg (LCSW, OSW-C), and their respective departments with ensuring wholistic care for our Providence Saint John’s patients.
Both departments provide supportive care, financial assistance, and mental health resources designed to help patients through the exterior challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Alston works alongside our social workers and nursing team to coordinate classes, webinars, mentorship programs, financial grants, and more to patients at no additional charge alongside their clinic care.
