Emily Wright is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in the Breast Health Clinic at the Margie Petersen Breast Center. Her passion for educating and caring for women was sparked during a summer volunteering at a women’s clinic in Southern Africa, where she witnessed the challenges of childbirth and family planning with limited resources. This experience fostered her commitment to supporting women in difficult situations. Emily then pursued her master’s degree in nursing at Duke University. After graduating, she worked at a non-profit organization providing testing and support for new expectant mothers followed by an infertility clinic in West LA.
Her experiences caring for women in unexpected and vulnerable situations has guided her to the Breast Health Clinic. Driven by the belief that knowledge is power, Emily strives to provide compassionate care and education to her patients.
