Dr. Isabel Dennahy earned her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland before moving to the United States for surgical training. She conducted translational research at the University of Michigan before beginning her residency as a Halsted General Surgery resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital and ultimately completing her residency and a research fellowship in basic science at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Dennahy has contributed to more than thirty publications, three book chapters, and numerous presentations at national and international conferences. She has received multiple research awards, as well as accolades for teaching and compassionate care of patients. Her academic interests include hepatopancreaticobiliary cancers, sarcoma, skin cancers, and palliative surgery.
