Jillian McCabe, M.D.

Dr. Jillian McCabe is originally from Cookeville, TN. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University. She then completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University and became a licensed registered dietitian. She spent two years in practice as an outpatient dietitian at Intermountain Medical Center and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT where she focused mainly on the treatment of obesity and eating disorders. She also became a certified nutrition support clinician specializing in enteral and parenteral nutrition. Following this, she earned her medical degree in 2017 at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. She was then selected to complete her General Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. During her time there, she performed over 2200 surgeries, authored 3 publications, and was awarded the 2022 outstanding resident educator award at Erlanger Hospital.
