Rebecca Marcus, M.D.

Dr. Rebecca Marcus obtained her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and then completed surgical internship and residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  During her residency, she spent three years at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a NIH-funded research fellow developing a mouse model for cholangiocarcinoma and investigating the utility and impact of enhanced recovery pathways in oncologic surgery.  She has had multiple peer reviewed publications in the Annals of Surgical Oncology, Annals of Surgery, and Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.  She has presented her work at several national meetings including the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, and the Academic Surgical Congress.
