We cannot turn on the television or listen to the radio without hearing the message to stay home, practice social distancing and keeping safe. It’s a scary time for all of us, but even more frightening for those already dealing with health issues.

Stay Home, Be Safe and Take Care of Yourself

Our cancer support team is here to help calm those fears and offer ways to take care of yourself both physically, as well as, mentally. You are not alone at this difficult time. Rest assured, our team is here to answer questions and support our patients and family members. We are all in this together!

As our brave frontline caregivers are going to work every day, we want to thank the community for staying home and helping to flatten the curve. We all have a responsibility to help with this effort and can do our part by practicing social distancing.

We also want to thank our cancer patients for continuing to be strong as you fight cancer during this Coronavirus pandemic. Fighting cancer is difficult on its own, but when combined with the restrictions being placed upon us during this pandemic, it can be even more so for our patients.

Our cancer clinics will continue to be open and our care team is always here to support patients and their families by caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Recovered from COVID-19? Become a plasma donor! Saint John’s Cancer Institute researchers are working hard to find possible treatment options for COVID-19 patients. Your plasma donation can help treat patients who are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 because you have the antibodies that can attack the virus. Register at the American Red Cross using the link below and let us know by emailing us at covid19trials@jwci.org, so we can have our blood bank ensure it was received.
Thank you for helping us save lives!
