Dr. Parvin Peddi is the Director of Breast Medical Oncology at Margie Petersen Breast Cancer Center. After nearly a decade at UCLA where she was a member of the Medical Oncology faculty and lead Medical Oncology at the Revlon UCLA Breast Cancer Clinic at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Peddi joined the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. She specializes in the treatment of patients with breast cancer and is involved in designing, implementing, and leading clinical trials to test new targeted therapies. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and recently received the Super Doctors Southern California 2023 award.
Dr. Parvin Peddi received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine training at Washington University, where she also served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Washington University and at UCLA. Early in her career as faculty at UCLA, she received the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology for breast cancer research. She has also received many other awards and honors including Super Doctors® Southern California, Chief Editor of Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics, and was selected as a Howard-Hughes Medical Institute Scholar to perform research at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. Her research has been published in various medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Peddi specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and strives to provide individualized, compassionate and cutting-edge care to each one of her patients. Supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including medical and radiation oncologists, and surgeons, Dr. Peddi provides patients comfort, compassion, and reassurance of care excellence through vast clinical expertise and decades of cancer research.
