Clinical trials are research studies that are designed to evaluate experimental (or “investigational”) medical treatments or procedures. At the Saint John’s Cancer Institute we are not only conducting various clinical trials for cancer treatment, but we are now a designated site for clinical trials that are evaluating the two most promising drugs in treating patients and combating COVID-19.

Learn About Our COVID-19 Clinical Trails:

  • In collaboration with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, we are conducting a phase 2 & 3 clinical trial to evaluate sarilumab in adult patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
  • In collaboration with Gilead Sciences, we are conducting a phase 3 clinical trial to evaluate Remdesivir in participants with moderate coronavirus disease compared to standard of care treatment.
  • In collaboration with Gilead Sciences, we are conducting a phase 3 clinical trial to evaluate Remdesivir in participants with severe coronavirus disease.

Be a part of tomorrow’s breakthroughs and talk to your doctor to see if participating in a clinical trial is right for you.
