Benign esophageal diseases can develop into esophageal cancer. These diseases include, achalasia, Barrett's esophagus, esophageal diverticulum, esophageal strictures, esophageal web, esophagitis, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernia, and Zenker's diverticulum.

COLORECTAL CANCER TREATMENT

Colorectal cancer may be treatment with surgery, surgerya nd chemotherapy, and other treatments.

ESOPHAGUS CANCER TREATMENT

Multimodality treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation) is often used to treat patiens with esophageal and gastric (stomach) cancer. Sequencing of treament is determined by the stage, size and location of the tumor.

HYPERTHERMIC INTRAPERITONEAL CHEMOTHERAPY (HIPEC)

HIPEC (hyperthermic intraoperative chemothotherapy) offers patients the opportunity for prolonged survival, an improvement in symptoms, and even cure.

LIVER CANCER TREATMENT

Treatment for liver cancer may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, embolization or thermal ablation.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY

Surgery is the most common and effective treatment for cancer. Depending on the stage of your cancer, it may be treated with minimally invasive approaches which result in shorter recovery times and less pain.

PANCREATIC CANCER TREATMENT

Depending on the type and stage, pancreatic cancer may be treated with surgery, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy. Your GI cancer team will recommend a treatment plan appropriate for your diagnosis.

RADITIATION THERAPY

Radiation therapy uses high-engery x-rays to kill or shrink cancer cells.

STOMACH CANCER TREATMENT

Surgery the primary treatment for stomach cancer and can be performed in a variety of ways including minimally invasive, robotic surgery.
